Mainbridge Commodities has opened discussions with the Zimbabwe Mining Agricultural Residential & Tourism Trust (ZIMARTT) who own/ control and manage 1.1 Million hectares of farmlands across the Country.
The collaboration with ZIMARTT will see the creation of a local entity that will be a provider of fresh fruits and vegetables. The company will focus on the growing, sourcing, exporting, packaging, marketing and distributing around 50 horticultural crop products from eight categories of fresh fruit and vegetables to wholesalers, retailers, caterers, aggregators and food processors in food markets around the world.
Mainbridge and ZIMARTT plan to institute comprehensive Farmer aggregation and integration programs that it plans to roll out nationwide overtime.
